One more fascinating school project was recently completed in Sweden. Skytteskolan has a fantastic illustration with Graphic Concrete on the wall outside in the schoolyard, which makes the school fun and enjoyable to stay in. Many objects that can be found in the school are nicely illustrated by the designer Hanna Hedman, e.g. pencils, scissors, toys, animals, and of course, students as well. Contiga Sverige has produced concrete elements of thebest quality to impart all the details on the concrete surface. We cannot wait to see how school pupils are so excited about their school surroundings.

The Graphic Concrete images on the facade signals the content of the museum; a collection and exhibitions where you will get to know people from different times, social environments and living conditions with different experiences, ideals and dreams.

“The idea to use Graphic Concrete came from the insight that the parking garage is huge and we need to bring down the scale using a graphic pattern. The primary aim was that the persons working in surrounding buildings should have a nice view despite the massive concrete parking house. The nature pattern is used to highlight the contrast between cars/traffic/pollution and nature/animals/fresh air. We wanted a calm and playful feeling.”

Väla Shopping Center is one of Sweden's most popular and well-attended shopping destinations, constantly award-winning for supply and well-being, service and accessibility. Every year it welcomes 10 million customers and visitors with its 200 shops, restaurants and cafés. The shopping center is surrounded with a wavy white patterned wall in Graphic Concrete.
