Graphic Concrete Stories is a new video podcast series exploring Graphic Concrete through the perspectives of architecture, materials, and design.

Graphic Concrete is a patented Finnish innovation that enables permanent patterns, images, and textures to be integrated directly into precast concrete surfaces. The design becomes an integral part of the concrete itself, creating a durable, maintenance-free architectural finish.

Each episode focuses on a specific theme, showcasing the possibilities of Graphic Concrete through real-world projects, from concept and design to completed buildings.

In the first episode, we take a closer look at both historic and contemporary Graphic Concrete projects in Finland. We discuss how aesthetics, production methods, and applications have evolved over the years, and what this tells us about the role of Graphic Concrete in today's architecture.

Graphic Concrete production is simple: graphics and patterns are transferred directly onto the concrete surface during the precast manufacturing process.

Located in Roskilde, Denmark, Samspillet Musicon was completed in 2021. The project has attracted significant attention from both locals and visitors thanks to its striking appearance and the compelling stories behind its design.

In this episode, we focus on Graphic Concrete reference projects across the Nordic and Baltic regions. We explore how architects and designers use Graphic Concrete to create distinctive façades that respond to local environments, cultural influences, and project-specific requirements.

Malmö Latin School is known for its creative and cultural profile, featuring activities such as rock concerts, radio productions, and live broadcasts. This identity is reflected in the façade of the new school building through a series of small icons created with Graphic Concrete.

The Delfiinikortteli Sitadelli Residential Building demonstrates the extended design possibilities of Graphic Concrete. A golden stain was applied to the concrete surface after the Graphic Concrete production process, creating a distinctive visual effect.
